Dauntless Communications is a digital communications and public affairs company based in Roseville, California. We offer many services such as: mobile app and website design, social media marketing, grassroots outreach, email marketing, and much more. We’ve worked on multiple California proposition campaigns and provide services to clients all over California and the nation.
Meet the Team
Founder & CEO
Eric is talented in community outreach to diverse coalitions, web development and email and social network marketing and is knowledgeable on a number of public policy issues including jobs, taxes and energy.
He has over a decade of experience working on numerous statewide and local political campaigns. In 2009, Eric coordinated the opposition to Proposition 1A, a proposed $16 billion tax increase, on behalf of the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association. Although the grassroots taxpayer effort was outspent 20-1, Prop. 1A was voted down by an overwhelming 2-1 margin. Eric also is founder of the Coalition of Energy Users.
Eric holds a Master’s in Public Policy and Administration from Sacramento State University and a Bachelor’s in Business from California State University, Northridge.
Director of Administration
Julie is adding a great diversity of work experiences to the team. She has worked with political consulting firms on numerous state assembly and senate campaigns as well as some of the most competitive congressional races in the country. She has administrative experience from working at non profits and private sector. Julie graduated from MTI College with a paralegal certificate, and worked as a litigation paralegal before joining the Dauntless Communications team.

Director of Research and Planning
Cole Azare moved to Las Vegas Nevada after living with his family in England during the 1980s. He joined the US Navy in 2000 and served aboard the USS Boxer as a Junior Non-Commissioned Officer. In 2006, Cole left the Navy and returned to Nevada and in 2009, studied for a degree in both political science and international affairs at the University of Nevada-Reno.
He was recruited to take on the State Assembly campaign of Devon Mathis in Tulare County, CA in 2014. There, he turned a failing campaign that was outspent and outgunned by a significant margin into a winning one. Following the election, Cole became the transitional Chief of Staff to the new Assemblyman.
In late 2015, Cole returned to Nevada to take part in his home state’s presidential campaign and started his own firm in March, following the closure of the Donald Trump for President office in Reno. Cole’s fundamental philosophy is that by building bridges, even the most arduous tasks can be accomplished.

Director of Policy
David brings to the Dauntless team a passion for history and politics, nurtured by a deep-rooted commitment to public service. A lifelong resident of the Central Valley, David’s family owned and operated a small business for much of his youth, providing him with insight on the intricacies of bureaucratic intrusion into the free market. Witnessing his family’s struggle with running a small business fueled David’s firm belief that businesses and individuals operate best with as little government interference as possible.
He has been involved in conservative causes consistently since his youth, when he served as Vice President of the Manteca High School Young Conservatives. In college, David also served as Treasurer of the Stanislaus State College Republicans, and as President of the Manteca Tea Party Patriots. In 2016, David ran for City Council in Manteca, CA, becoming the youngest candidate for that office in the city’s history. He currently volunteers with the Manteca Kiwanis Club, and serves as Vice President of the San Joaquin Conservative Republicans.
David graduated from California State University, Stanislaus, in 2015 with a B.A. in Political Science. He and his wife Genevie currently reside in Manteca.

Director of Technology
Mike has always been interested in history and technology so he graduated from CSU Channel Islands in 2014 with a B.A. in History and a Minor in Computer Game Design & Development.
Mike assists with policy projects but is primarily focused on Dauntless’ technology efforts. He is in charge of designing, creating and maintaining client websites and mobile apps, in addition to social media and email marketing.

Mason currently attends Sacramento State University as a double major in Government and Economics. He is Chairman of the Sacramento State College Republicans and President of the Student Economic Association. He has always been interested policy and politics and has volunteered and many campaigns across the state.
LA Event Coordinator
Zach has experience in all levels of politics along with private sector work in the real estate industry. He has worked with political consulting firms and appraisal management companies for the past 3 years. Additionally, Zach has served as the executive director of Channel Islands College Republicans and Communications director for Ventura County Young Republicans.
He is currently studying at CSU Channel Islands working on a BA in political science with a minor in philosophy. After his undergrad he plans to go to Law School. In his free time, Zach enjoys lifting weights, shooting, spending time with his friends and girlfriend and creating dank memes.

Justin will be graduating in 2018 with a B.A. in International Studies-Political Science Major with a minor in Business. Justin has been involved in San Diego politics for over a year, and has been a Junior Political Coordinator for the San Diego Republicans, as well as done grass roots work on various campaigns including Darrel Issa for Congress, Kevin Faulkner for Mayor of San Diego, and Ray Ellis for San Diego City Council.
After Justin graduates, he plans to work in international relations. In his free time, Justin sprints for his track and field team as he is member of the school record holding 4×100 meter relay and holds NCAA regional honors.
